Terms and conditions
- Sorry…. the boring but necessary Terms and Conditions. Please make sure you read the following before making a reservation.
- CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check In : After 2 PM
Can be sooner depending on occupation of the villa in the morning of arrival (please contact us). The Villa Manager will greet you at the Property to check you in, show you the features of the Villa SINGA and answer any question you may have.
Special check-in instructions : Minimum check-in age is 18. The Villa Manager office is open daily (except sunday) from 9 AM – 5 PM. Guests arriving after 5 PM (or on sunday) must make advance arrangements by contacting the property.
Check Out : Until 12 PM
Late Check Out : until 6 PM charged 50% of the daily rate and one night full payment is required for any check-out after 6 PM (subject to availibility). No refund will be given in case Guest arrive late in the villa or leave before the end of the rental period. If the Villa Manager office is not open (9 AM-5 PM), you may still be able to check out by depositing your key to the night security staff or in special box. Please advise us and settle your account on the previous evening. Bills for alcoholic or any other additional service(s) must be settled before check-out or at least once a week for longer stays.
- MINIMUM STAY / SEASON PERIODS
2 nights in Standard Season / High Season / Peak Season
Standard Season : From 9th January to 31 March / From 1st November to 20th December
High Season : From 1st April to 30 June / From 1st September to 31 October
Peak Season : From 1st July to 31th August / From 21th December to 8th January / Chinese New Year week
To confirm the booking request, the Guest must make the deposit payment :
For rentals beginning more than 60 days after the date of the booking request : a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is payable.
For rentals beginning 60 days or less after the date of the booking request : the total rental amount is payable as a deposit.
If the required deposit payment is not received within the 2 working day period, Villa SINGA reserves the right to void the Guest’s booking request.
Where a 50% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 50% balance not less than 60 days before the scheduled arrival date.
All payments can be settled by Paypal, Bank transfer, and must be made in US Dollars, unless otherwise agreed with Villa SINGA.
If payments are not made on or before the due dates as required herein, Villa Singa may cancel the booking, in which case this Rental Contract will be thereby terminated without any further notice required. Cancellation charges may apply as detailed below.
NOTE: You will need to instruct your sending bank to ensure the full amount transferred is guaranteed to Villa SINGA receiving bank. All bank transfer fees are to be included in the total amount transferred.
Any shortfall in the total rental amount received from the rental amount due will be due and payable prior to arrival.
Please send the transfer slip once the money is sent for us to trace it – especially if the remitting account is not under your name.
- RESERVATION VOUCHER / REGULATIONS
A reservation voucher will be sent to the Guest address by email.
The voucher will have the confirmation details, the villa address, Guests details, transfers details. This voucher will be forward once full payment has been received.
The Guest will need to show this voucher and their passports to the office at Villa SINGA when they arrive. Local regulations require all foreigners and visitors to Bali to register with the local authorities within 24 hours upon arrival.
A copy of all guests passport may be required at check-in and only registered guests can stay in the villa. The Villa Manager will assist you and will register you.
- PASSPORT / VISA
All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel and must have an expiration date not less than 6 months prior to entry.
All travellers have the responsibility to ensure that they have valid passport and if necessary, valid visa. If you are refused entry into the country, you release us from all damages, expenses, costs, liabilities or loss you incur in relation to such matters.
- TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking, to protect you and all those accompanying you for the full time of your visit against illness, including evacuation, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, theft, cancellation and other travel contingencies.
- BREAKFAST, LUNCH, SNACKS & DINNER
The Villa SINGA’s team includes 2 private Chefs (Service 7:30 AM-10 PM) to prepare your breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.
They can cook Asian, International, Vegetarian, Dietary or Children dishes, and will show you suggestion menus. Guest will be requested to provide a cash float for groceries around 1.500.000 IDR upon arrival or in advance, and to plan meals the evening before.
The Villa SINGA staff will make any purchases (charges : 20% of grocey cost), and will keep and present the supermarkets receipts. For the first meal (of your choice) we can purchased the grocery shoppping in advance and the Guest is responsible for reimbursing.
Breakfast (7:30 AM-10:30 AM) :
Breakfast starts at 7:30 AM. Should you have to depart earlier (day trip / check-out) we can prepare a take away breakfast on request. Please notify the Villa Manager at the latest on the morning before your departure.
Lunch (11:30 AM-2:30 PM) : Maximum 3 differents menus
Snack, Tea/Coffee Time (Fruits skewers, Waffles, Crepes,…) : During all the day.
We can prepare a Picnic area around 4:30 PM to enjoy the sun’s sunk on Indian Ocean.
Please advise us in advance.
Dinner : (6:30 PM-9:30 PM) : Maximum 3 differents menus
Utilities costs are included in the rent.
Villa SINGA abides with an eco-friendly policy.
Therefore, we kindly ask the Guest not to leave water taps open and to close bay-windows while air-conditioning is in use. Besides, we request that all air-conditioning must be switched off when you need to go out or stay long outside of the villa. Villa SINGA staff may perform action in order to comply with this policy.
Linens and towels are provided by the villa and due to our eco-friendly policy, linens are changed every three days, more often if necessary. Towels are changed every two days, or replaced after placement in the pool towel basket or left on the bathroom ground. Additional charges may apply if more frequent changes are needed.

- VILLA OCCUPANCY
The maximum occupancy of villa SINGA is based on 14 people including children (We can provide a Baby Cot if needed).

The number of registered guests given at the time of the booking is the maximum number of guests allowed. The accommodation cannot be shared or sub-let and only the persons shown in the booking form are permitted to stay in the property. Persons under the age of 18 are not accepted as guests unless accompanied by parents or responsible adults. Villa SINGA reserves the right to refuse any check-in or situation that does not comply with this policy.
Social events are permitted, however the invited guests are not allowed to reside in the villa and stay overnight. Conditions apply as detailed below.
Please also note that if the Guest invites guests into the villa during his stay, he will be held responsible for any trouble, accident, theft or damage that may be caused by his guests.
- ADDITIONAL PERSON
80 USD / night (Maximum occupancy : 14 persons. For more than 14 persons : Conditions apply, please contact us.). An additional person is a person who was not included in the initial booking. The booking is for a specified number of registered people.
- USE OF PROPERTY/EVENTS
All bookings are assumed to be for normal holiday purposes only.
If the Guest is planning to hold an event, such as a party or wedding, or planning to use the Property for a purpose other than holiday, please communicate this at the time of booking for approval. Such approval is at the sole discretion of Villa SINGA management. This may result in a surcharge that is equivalent to one night’s rental price, an additional security deposit, and a fee to the local community (Banjar).
Special permission must be obtained to host a gathering where the number of people in attendances exceeds 150% of the villa capacity. Villa SINGA can cater only small but intimate and private events, and your guests may have accommodation in the nearby resort hotel.
For a big event you may choose to select the nearby resort hotel (we can arrange the contact) which offers also magnificent sunsets.
- SECURITY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
A security deposit of one night villa rental price may be payable to cover the cost of any damages.
The security deposit can be paid, minimum 1 week prior to arrival date by PayPal or bank transfer, or by Cash upon check-in. To avoid transfer costs you might consider paying the total rental amount plus security deposit at once.
If you prefer, you can also make a cash deposit of 400 USD or the equivalent in Indonesian Rupiah, and sign upon check-in a credit card authorization.
The name on the credit card used at check-in to pay for incidentals must be the primary name on the guest reservation.
If payment is received prior to arrival, the security deposit will be returned to the Guest within 24 hours after check-out. If security deposit is paid by cash then it will be returned to the Guest upon check-out and in the same currency as it was received by the villa SINGA. Access to the Property may be refused if security deposit is not paid in full.
- DAMAGE OR LOSSES
Any damage or losses caused during the Rental Period, as well as any special cleaning requirements will may be charged to the Guest.
For example, for stains from food/drink/chlorine to any sheets/mattress/towels/cushions or pillows, for any rubbish thrown into the pool and any excessive markings to any wall or floor surfaces. Guests are required to use the exterior sofas, and not to enter into the villa when they are wet from swimming. It’s to avoid chlorine damages and also because floors may become slippery. Breakages will also be charged for any electrical equipment or furniture that has been broken.
The Property is to be left as when you arrived, and any losses from taking decoration/hangers/toiletries/towels/pool towels/books/games/DVD movies/controllers/keys will be charged at the replacement cost. In cases of excessive or unacceptable loss or damage, Villa SINGA may require the Guest to vacate the Property immediately, without compensation or refund.
For the safety and comfort of all guests, smoking is not permitted inside the Villa SINGA.
Ashtrays are provided in the outside areas (decks/terraces) for guest wishing to smoke. As most villa roofing is made from weaved grass (Alang-Alang), it is easily burnt from a thrown cigarette. If any neighbouring property or any roofing on Villa SINGA is damaged by a reckless guest the damages owing will be paid by him. The Villa Management reserves also the right to charge for deterioration due to smoking and / or for curtain laundry.
For safety reasons, candles, paper candles lanterns,…are not authorized but we can provide you led flameless candles.
We love animals but sorry, pets are not allowed for comfort of all guests (allergy).
If the Guest wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, written notice of cancellation must be sent to Villa SINGA.
It is strongly recommended that the Guest purchase a trip cancellation insurance. In the event that the Guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will apply.
If the Guest cancels the reservation more than 60 days before the start of the rental period, 20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited. If the Guest cancels the reservation between 30 and 60 days before the start of the rental period, 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited. If the Guest cancels the reservation between 1 and 29 days before the start of the rental period, 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited.
Villa SINGA will refund any remaining balance to the Guest. In case the Management has to transfer back funds due to cancellation, the bank fees will be charged and deducted from the amount to be transferred back. In case the Guest need to shorten his stay after arrival, or arrive late in the villa, the nights not spent in the villa will not be subject to any refund or compensation.
Valuable items such as passports, cell phones, laptops, cameras, travelers checks, cash or jewelry should be stored in the safety deposit box provided in each bedroom of the Villa SINGA. Neither the Villa Management nor the staff can be held responsible for any valuables left behind, lost, or damaged. Please remember to close entrance door and all outdoor bay windows before leaving the villa.
Please make sure you don’t forget any belongings when departing from the Property. Any items left behind may be sent to the Guest’s home provided item is of reasonable size and after payment of the shipping expenses.
- HOTEL SERVICES
Enjoy all the benefits of a luxury villa holiday, but with the bonus of being located within a hotel complex, with first-rate facilities at your fingertips: infinity pool, restaurant, Spa (you can ask to have your massage in the Villa SINGA Balé), private beach, and cocktail bars. At the nearby resort hotel, you are totally welcome !
- MAINTENANCE / REPAIR / MANAGER / OWNER : ACCESS
The Property and its facilities are available for the Guest’s full enjoyment during the Rental Period. However the Villa SINGA’s staff, contractors, owner and Villa Manager shall be allowed to access to the property from time to time (for inspection or maintenance purposes : housekeeping, cooking, garden, pool…) and access must be always granted for security reasons and emergency repairs.
The Guest is required to give them reasonable access to the Property for these purposes.
- CONDUCT AND NOISE
Villa SINGA is located in quiet residential neighbourhood.
The actions of all occupants of the property shall not interfere with the enjoyment of others residents.
Please do not use loudly the pool after 11 PM and before 7 AM. Please reduce music and other sounds especially in the outside area between 11 PM and 7 AM. Illegal activities including gambling, prostitution, prohibited drugs, possession or use of pyrotechnics, are all strictly prohibited.
If there is a Police or Banjar report, the Guest is responsible to pay any penalties.
The Guest is asked to respect this, and is responsible to ensure that all guests and visitors to the Property behave appropriately.
Should any guest(s) or visitor(s) not behave in a suitable manner, Villa SINGA may require the Guest to vacate the Property immediately, without compensation or refund.
Villa Singa does not take any responsibility for any physical injury/ sickness / death/ loss or damages , inconvenience or additional expenses incurred by the guests , or their visitors, regardless of the cause.
In the interests of safety, due care should be taken by the Guest, especially with children, when using all Property’s facilities, and especially around pool, cliff fence/gate, barbecue, stairs, terraces. All children must be under the direct supervision of an adult guest at all times. Villa SINGA will take no responsibility for accidents occurring outside the villa, even for activities / services organised through the Villa Singa office or staff.
No responsibility can be taken for failure of machinery, electrical fault or equipment in the villa, but the management and staff will aim to assist you and to rectify such problems as quickly as possible. No refund or rate adjustment shall be made for unforeseen mechanical failures such as the supply of electricity, water, pool filtration systems, air conditioning, television or internet services, appliances, etc.. It is the guest’s obligation to report any problems or damages to Villa Manager immediately.
The Guest holds the Villa Management free of liability resulting from such claims that result as consequences of accidents leading to injury or loss of life.
Every attempt will be made for guests to have an enjoyable holiday stay. If you should have a problem during your stay, please inform our Villa Manager or email directly.
Villa SINGA will not entertain complaints made after the Guest has left the villa, because it is unable to properly investigate the complaint.
- EMAIL COMMUNICATION
By providing your email address, you consent to receiving promotional emails from Villa SINGA. To avoid internet fraud we would like to point out that Villa SINGA exclusively communicates via email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the event that you have been contacted by anyone via email NOT from above email or by phone, claiming to be representing Villa SINGA, we ask you to notify us straight away.
- By paying the deposit for your accommodation, the Guest agrees on behalf of all registered guests, that, these Terms and Conditions have been read, understood and have been accepted and agreed to by the Guest without reservation and without exception.A copy of these will be signed by the Guest upon check-in. A copy of the above can be found in the documentation provided in the villa.
